Community Resource Event for International Women’s Day
La Jornada, will hold an event on March 11, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, they will hold an event to bring health resources to the community. The event is going to be held during their food pantry at the Ginarte Community Center (43-10 National Street, Corona, NY 11368) and they would like to invite MetroPlus to participate on the day of the event.
The theme will be the celebration of International Women’s Day and they are inviting health organizations to help them reinforce the importance of prevention, so they will have COVID-19 vaccines, information on nutrition, cancer, domestic violence, among others. They hope to have the presence of MetroPlus so that we can share information about health insurance with the attendees, which are basic tools to maintain preventive health.
La Jornada, realizara un evento el día 11 de marzo, de 9:00 am a 2:00 pm, van a realizar un evento para acercar recursos de salud a la comunidad. El evento va a realizarse durante la despensa de comida que tienen en el Centro Comunitario Ginarte (43-10 National Street, Corona, NY 11368) y les gustaría invitar a MetroPlus a que participen el día del evento.
La temática será la celebración por el Día Internacional de la Mujer y estan invitando a organizaciones de salud que los ayuden a reforzar la importancia de la prevención, por lo que tendran vacunas COVID-19, informacion sobre nutrición, cáncer, violencia doméstica, entre otros. Esperan contar con la presencia de MetroPlus para que podamos compartir con los asistentes la informacion acerca de los seguros de salud que son herramientas básicas para mantener una salud preventiva.
